Armour Wire Anchor Clamp (AWAC), also known as Armor Clamp.
The AWAC is used to anchor an armoured cable to a structure such as manhole wallor concrete abutment. The armour wires are peeled back and clamped between thebase plate and the ring to ensure that the cable does not slip away during its servicelife.
